In praise of LNER being sensible

Missed my 7pm Kings Cross to York train by a minute after a delayed tube journey. Advance ticket, so not transferable without help. Explained situation at ticket office, they gave me this to get me on the 8pm with no extra charge. A sympathetic and human response to my problem which I don't think they needed to do (tube delays not their problem). I go up and down the East Coast Mainline fairly often and when I go on almost anyone else I realise how solid/ decent LNER generally are. Foxes Glacier Fruits, however, are way smaller than I remember them being. Probably for my own good.
