Corporate greeding

The way I see this whole unity change of policy is that the merger/acquisition changed the board.

They don't want a healthy long term company. As the currente meta in corporate business seems to be cannibalising of acquired companies.

They are going to mooch of the existing games, Jack up prices and squeeze as much as they can. Not caring if they are ruining the business.

Then, once the company is only a husk of its former self they are going to bail on it and allow it to go bankrupt having earned back the money they used to buy it.
