Intergenerational Beef

Is it just me, or do you all notice that there doesn't seem to be a lot of love between the different generations of the USMNT? They all seem to take jabs at each other---the 90s guys to the later generations, the 2000s and first part of the 2010s guys towards the 90s and current generation, and the current generation towards the previous ones. It seems they all still certainly want the USMNT to succeed, but also none of them think either of the other modern generations was as good as theirs. It's weird. You'd think it'd be one big fraternity, but it's very fragmented by era.
