VeeSee Box V2 Pro - Loses sound

I have had the Version 2 Pro box for a couple of years and for the most part it works great. The only thing that has been annoying is anytime I restart the device, I lose sound for it. It switches from Audio\_HDMI to Audio\_codec. It is quick to reset, but if anyone has a suggestion for getting this change to hold, I would greatly appreciate it.
