Early Tips/Recommendations for the 2016 Fallas in Valencia.

Starting to plan a big trip from the USA to Spain, mainly to Valencia for the Fallas of next year. Travelers will be my wife, my two daughters ages 11 & 22 and myself. I am looking for best neighborhoods for lodging and Fallas charm / transport / food / sights and general recommendations for the entire Fallas. I visited Valencia for the 1994 Fallas and had the most incredible time and am very excited to take my family over for the whole experience of Spain and Fallas. And maybe squeezing in a road/rail trip to Barcelona or Madrid if time allows. Also, is there typically a Valencia C.F. game at home during Fallas? I'd love to catch a match.
