Stuff to do before swamp

Hello! I'm not really looking for advice to do with surviving in the swamp, but this is my first playthrough and I'm trying to drag it as long as possible because I love getting immersed in this game, so I wanna do everything. I also like the feeling of being fully prepared. I have not gone to the swamp yet, just killed the elder today and I would like to know everything I can do before going to the swamp to get myself set up.

Currently, I've been making many meads, I've farming honey, Trying to set up a boar farm, Making my base look as good as I can and as secure as possible, organising my inventory, starting a carrot farm. I'm still looking for the trader and a 2 start boar.

I'm wondering if there is any other facet of progress I don't know about. Thanks (:
