Opinions on Schwartz

I recently finished a rewatch along with my friend who was watching for the first time. Going into it I kept telling her Schwartz would grow on her but she hated and honestly over time she made me realize how awful he is.

While I do still see the redeeming quality in Schwartz of being a lovable dummy, why is it that everyone looks over how awful he was to Katie over the years.

Given I didn’t watch when the show first aired so I’m coming from a binge perspective but why isn’t that he gets a pass because he comes off as dumb?

Stassi was right and will forever be right that he’s half vagina half weasel.
