Donut City

Recently thought about the movie “ The Wild Life” and remembered that EVH did some music for the film.

So I decided to give the song Donut City a listen.

It has a familiar vibe and I think he was possibly inspired ( whether consciously or unconsciously) by Loverboy and the song “Turn Me Loose”.

The bass line in Turn me Loose and the basic line for Donut City are about the same.

What do you think fellow Van Halen fans?
