And I’m so traumatized by a paper cut.

Just thinking about a small wound I have on my left calf. I scratched an irritated area of my leg and it hurt so awfully, the feeling was making me feel nauseated. When an animals is still alive when people perform such violent acts of aggression for human purposes the pain they are gong through every day in every location at every level of preparedness for slaughter. The slaughter itself is so horrific. There isn’t a “humane” way to slaughter an animal. It’s so painful for humans who have the smallest scratch or paper cut. Imagine what he or she is going through, unable to speak or express their painful mess and unable to relieve themselves. A quick death isn’t the answer, because they experience pain at some level and they are held in horrible conditions until then. Killing anyone that would’ve normally been alive is murder. Humans are murderers of entire populations, and the lack of remorse and consideration is frightening. One paper cut or scratch has me feeling seriously injured. Removing hides from an animal without pain killers…or at all, is inhumane and monstrous. They are expected to be “normal”and docile after that. Who of us would go calmly if someone treated us like that? I know it’s difficult for anyone to imagine what it’s like for sulfur or gas chambers, nuclear bombs or radiation poisoning. If a paper cut and deep scratch hurts us so much how could anyone decide animals deserve the treatment they reside with? ( I know, already person that “doesn’t feel pain so keeps consuming” I already factored this insensitive person in- it’s just insensitive, and I know it will be said. Just not as sensitive, not a monster, just handles their emotions.. mmhm. I’m not here to judge, maybe that person would have to compare it to a broken arm or broken leg) I really question the sanity of a human who sees an animal blinking after they are skinned alive and continue eating meat or consuming animals products. How is this cruelty supported every day? Every plate? Every purchase without second thought? A paper cut. Animals have broken limbs and beaks clipped off and I would think a pepper cut is so horrible. What these sweet innocent animals go through is sickening.
