Accidentally posted in r/vegan

So yesterday, I was trying to post some funny meme on r/vcj as I usually do. But as I started receiving answer notifications, something didn't quite feel right.

There was no "I'm vegan btw", no mention of delicious dog steaks, no answers from carnist bot. But instead a bunch of replies about accepting baby steps and having vegetarians as friends (did you know Hitler was a vegetarian btw?)

That's when the realisation struck me. I had posted my meme in r/vegan. 😱 I tried to edit my post or remove it but I was crying so much that I couldn't even see the "remove" button under my tears.

I tried explaining in the comments that I meant to post the meme in a vegan subreddit but I only got downvoted as people insisted on telling me r/vegan was a vegan subreddit. But I looked at the replies I got on my post and I knew for sure those couldn't possibly be vegan.

I just feel so gross and upset that I did that. I just wanna throw up and cry but that would probably make me lose the small amount of vitamins and proteins still left in me so I try holding it in. I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive myself. What do you guys think? Does it ever happen to you to slip up like this? How do you just move on and forget about it?
