Is The Bellagio Loud?

Hey all! We're thinking of staying at Bellagio in September for a few days, and we've never been to Vegas before. The biggest thing we look for in a hotel is whether we'll actually be able to sleep, and with Vegas being so busy day and night, I'm wondering if we might encounter problems. Is the Bellagio particularly loud? My understanding is that it's better than "trendier" places like Cosmo where a younger crowd might congregate. Can I ask for a quieter location within the hotel, or is there no such thing? Anything I should know? We can bring earplugs, but those don't help against thumping from things like loud, bassy music.
