Discrepancy between Verizon's total usage and data usage log

Hi, I'm curious if anyone has insight or experience with this. I've contacted Verizon support and they are stating they will look into my account but I'm not 100% confident the support person I spoke with is familiar with what I'm discussing.

Essentially, I'm seeing one number for my total data usage on my devices, and a separate, significantly lower number if I tally up the number from the data log available on the data usage page for each device on verizon.com. I download it to a spreadsheet via the link provided at the bottom of the data log page, and sum up the data for the current cycle.

The total from the log is very close to what my phone is reporting (the log shows about 1.45GB, my phone says about 1.5GB). However, if I look at the total usage number for my phone at the top of the data usage page, it's reporting 2.64GB.

It's a similar situation for my partner's phone, where the log and their device are reporting similar numbers (around 770MB) while the total on the device page shows 1.4GB.

We're still within our 5GB shared plan and probably will make it through the cycle (another 11 days) but usage seemed rather high this cycle for us so I started looking into this and noticed the discrepancies.

Has anyone here noticed something similar? Is this a known issue? Would there be that much usage not listed in the log on Verizon.com, enough to cover nearly 1.5GB of additional usage across both devices? It doesn't appear that you can view previous cycles detailed usage by day so I can't compare to previous cycles. Appreciate any insight folks have.
