On the Trades/Skilled Labor Discussion: What do you consider a reasonable rate?

The title says it all, but wondering what folks might consider a reasonable rate for a skilled carpenter in Vermont? A plumber? An electrician? An HVAC tech?

Considering the skilled trades gap, I can't imagine anyone with expertise in these fields agreeing to work for much less than $50/hour + materials. Do folks around the state generally agree with that pricing?
