Spots to sit by the lake in Burlington/Shelburne area

Just a shot in the dark, does any one know of any "secret", public spots to hang by the lake and have a picnic in the evening? I understand if you don't want to share, cause then it wouldn't be a "secret" anymore. ; )

Edit: ended up finding some of those places on the rocks off the bike path at Oakledge. Was perfect.
