This game freezes way too much

I honestly feel like 80% of the times I have "closed" this game it has been from me hard restarting my pc because the game freezes and nothing I can do will close it. My pc is very decent and can handle any other game I throw at it with zero problems. Is there something I'm missing here? Is this a common problem? It's seriously impacting my enjoyment of the game so if it's fixable I'd like to know how.
