Found a vintage Wenger in the wild

Found this Wenger today NOS at a gun store. Seems to be 30 years old or so. Not sure if I should open it or leave it in the clamshell. Here it is next to my Victorinox evolution s557 (a Wenger design). What do you guys think? Open it or not?
