Many of you will say it's sacrilege, but...

So I restARTed it from 0, thinking about a more retro futuristic design about how should it be if they still made them today...

The original panel was discarded and replaced with a 256 x 64 pixel monochrome (grayscale) OLED screen: The idea was to evoke a vintage design while incorporating graphics, and all the icons were designed with in a retro style...

The rubber bands was replaced but sadly, the other rubber parts were too wasted, so I replaced the cassette parts with 2 big wheels emulating a Reel to reel...

For the playing mode, the screen displays a real time audio spectrum analizer as well the song metadata

The control panel also has a retro style look, with 5 band equalizer, harmonics bass control and enhanced live mode, the bass frequency cut can be modified in 5 steps of 35 hertz each one

But the original function of the Realistic chronosette was to be an alarm clock, so, the new clock looks like a 80's arcade game...

I know many will say it was a sacrilege modifying this equipment but I really liked the final result...
