Bad feeling about a buyer. What to do?

I have a feeling about a buyer. The profile shows verified with facebook and email but there are no reviews. The buyer is in the UK and I'm in the US. The photo looks like something you would see on a fake facebook profile, and there is something about the convo that made me go looking in the first place. I'm having trouble pinpointing it but my gut says not to trust this buyer. The item is being sold for $50, which is a lot of money for me and I'm trying to just partially recoup the $75 I paid for it. What should I do? Has this happened to any of you before? I did create a video of me boxing up the item and it is packaged very carefully. Is that enough to cover me if this is some kind of scammer?
