Seller agreed to offer, cancelled order and has re-listed with the price tripling
I offered to buy a sweater from a vendor for €4.50. The sweater was listed for €6, so a nice little discount.
The seller accepted the offer. I paid.
The next day, the seller cancelled the order saying there was a problem with the label, and it was Vinted’s problem.
The seller has now re-listed the same item at €18. Even at the lowest possible offer (€10.80), it’s still 2.5 times what we both agreed on.
Is there any recourse here, or is this just a Vinted story to chalk down to experience?
I’m not desperate for the sweater. It has some staining that at €4, I would have lived with. When we’re moving toward €10 plus shipping, it’s a different question.
