Childhood Nostalgia Buys
Growing up, my parents owned scant few albums but out of the ones they had, I remember playing three all the time on the combo Sears system in the basement: Bonnie Tyler's "Faster Than the Speed of Night", Air Supply's Greatest Hits and Dan Fogelburg's Greatest Hits (mainly the B side). I bought Fogelburg some time ago but hadn't spotted these yet which might sound odd but so it was. I won't pretend I was looking hard but it was more of a "Oh, hey, I wonder if they have..." when I'd remember. Also I didn't want to buy them online but it was just a thing to look for. As a side note, saw lots of Air Supply while looking but the only time I saw the Greatest Hits was a scratched copy in a thrift store for a laughable $25.
Anyway, was in a store today and found both for cheap and in great condition. Reliving my age 9-11 years from the early 80s as we speak; wonderful balm from a simpler, safer time.
