Anybody else find installing Guest Additions a nightmare on Centos Stream?

I have the latest version of both CentOS Stream and Virtualbox but keep getting errors like /opt/VBoxGuestAdditions-6.1.30/other.mount.vboxsf already defined

I have had older versions of CentOS that also fail to work.

I have installed every pre-req I have had pointed out. kernel-devel, gcc, make, perl.

It's so frustrating. I can't find anything on google other than suggesting a fresh install. Which I have tried multiple times now.

I have tried removing the file mentioned, i have tried removing the entire VBoxGuestAdditions directory. Augh.
