Smooth Motion Accelerator / VRR tv experiences
Aight, so I've realized there is a major lack of options for 43" 16:9 ,1440p or greater , 120hz or great tv's & monitors for a reasonable amount that I am willing to spend ($500'ish). The Samsung Neo G7 I was gonna pickup for $300...well, the seller must of sold cause they didn't respond on pick up day. Walmart is out of a phillips tv that meets the specs and was recommeneded on this thread.
So I am wondering how ppl feel about the fake refresh rate tv's. I've been gaming on 1440p 144hz for a while now, or using a quest2 at 90hz for zacarria.
I am wondering how these fake frame gen tv's perform for VP. Nvidia and AMD's frame gen tech is good in my experience. maybe tv tech is good? Do you believe it would be a noticeable downgrade when I build a VP cab? I mean I can spot 60hz vs 120hz easily.
anyone have any firsthand experience? I haven't bought a tv in 20 yrs lmao. ig i could just go buy a tv and determine for myself if I want to keep it or not. a bit of a hassle tho.
