Stories of extreme VR use?
[John uses VR to go to sleep every night](https://open.substack.com/pub/goodvr/p/apple-vision-pro-sleep-aid) and [Sarah spent more than 5,000 hours flying around in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024](https://open.substack.com/pub/goodvr/p/sazzle-flys-recreation-room).
I’m looking for more stories like these as they highlight the ways VR can occupy major parts of life for some people. Both people describe the technology as changing their lives and I wouldn’t call either of these uses gaming, at least not the way Oculus or Valve express it in their platforms.
Are there other people who put this much time and effort into specific experiences in VR? People who have seen their lives change in dramatic ways connected to extended time in simulation or escape through VR headset?
I’m looking to put a spotlight on these uses. You can DM me on Reddit or email [email protected] if you have a story to share.
