Merry Christmas! Anyone having trouble logging into the PS Store?

I've been trying to buy my brother some gifts from the PS Store for a few days now and from what I can tell the only way to do that is to sign into his account and enter my credit card information but the login keeps failing. Any similar stories or advice? Thanks a lot!
