NSX-T 2.5 Manager Certificate - TLS certificate PEM is incorrectly formatted

Just trying out NSX 2.5 but I can't get the manager to accept the CA signed certificate that 2.4 happily accepted. When I invoke the apply\_certificate method with postman I get a 400 Bad Request response and the following error.

The admin UI accepts the certificate and shows all the attributes so it doesn't seem to be a black and white incorrect, but obviously there is a nuanced point it doesn't fulfil.

This is just my homelab so wondered if anyone else had ran into this and found a solution? All the documentation surrounding this doesn't seem to have changed so I don't think i'm doing anything obviously wrong.
