Crashed my Volt
Crashed my 2016 Volt sliding off the road into deep snow yesterday. Stopped by bowling over a small tree. Smashed up the front grill etc but did not harm anything in engine compartment including the radiator. Bottom shield/panels were ripped off under the engine. Only serious looking item was a copper braided line that looks like a ground or shield for a wire. It was cut in half. Does anyone know what this is and how vital it is? It was connected to a wire loop terminal on a bolt into the engine block near the oil filter. The car has 175,000 miles but I really want to keep it going. If I do have to junk it I heard there might be a market for the battery pack. Does anyone know about that? THX
