Want to set up a board gaming club in the local area.

I am aiming to set up a weekly club in the area for people to meet up and play board games. It's aimed primarily at the elderly and children and teens who may have trouble socializing at the local youth club. The youth club does brilliant work but for people like my brother who is diagnosed with autism it can be a bit too loud.

I have spoken to someone who is in charge of volunteers in the area and they think it would be a good idea, there is a community building in the area which will make a good venue.

I am posting this here to see if anyone has any experience in anything similar and how it worked out and if there are any fine points I should be aware of.
