What types of tasks do fledgelings get assinged, and who gives it to them?

So i'm aobut to start my first real VTM campaing. And I know a lot of Kindred life is power plays and politics and such, and I want to make sure to give my players an actual in game reason not to just... Hide. Now, the first session is figued out, it's going to be the night of their embrace, them meeting the Prince briefly, and establishing the basics since none of them have ever played (I'm gonna give them a friend NPC to ask questions and get advice from.)

But beyond that... Well I have a few Ideas, but I still wanted to ask to get some more, and to make sure I understand the whole thing. Which leads to the question: What kind of assignments would fledgeling get? Like once they've been turned a few weeks and it's time to make themselvevs useful by having their sires rent them out or something. And also... Would it just be the Prince and maybe the Sherrif that would send out the Coterie to do shit? And what type of shit?
