Timestamp data from Bamboo Slate

For a research project I need at tablet where people can draw on paper and we can record the strokes and timestamps of the strokes. Is there a way to do this with the Bamboo Slate? Would it be doable using the WILL SDK? Can the bamboo slate livestream data, or does it only sync when you press the button? Thank you for any information.
