Wacom driver update for Mac OS 10.15 Catalina
Hello Wacom & Mac OS users,
In October, Apple is planning to release the latest update to their operating system, Mac OS 10.15 Catalina. As of Wacom’s 6.3.36 driver, Wacom added support for the Beta version of Catalina. To ensure no interruption with your current Wacom product, we recommend waiting to update to Catalina until our team has had time to fully test the final release version. If an update is needed, the team will work to update our driver as quickly as possible. Please stay tuned to our [Mac OS 10.15 guide](https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support?guideId=015-916), [Product Resources](https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers), Facebook and Twitter pages for updated information once Catalina is released.
Note: Beta8 was released on 9/19/19. Apple further increased security settings in this beta and has caused an issue with the supported 6.3.36 Wacom driver for the beta OS. When installing the driver you will be prompted to update the security settings. Once set a popup message will appear that states, “Restart your application now”. Select OK. However, the driver will not restart correctly. Please restart your computer at this point to resolve the issue.
