How long between shoes?

In your opinion, how many miles is it reasonable to expect to get from a good pair of shoes?

I recently replaced a pair of shoes. Looking back, I see i bought them in November 2025. Since then, I have walked approximately 600 miles (960 km), plus incidental life. I know that hardcore runners will change out their shoes more regularly, but for you and in your experience, how long do you hope to get from a pair?
