Red Rock Wallet
I had the pleasure of visiting Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas a few weeks ago. The colors and striation of the rocks really struck home and stayed with me, and I was inspired to create something that emulated that.
The goatskin interior of this wallet has a [custom antiquing and weathering process](https://www.instagram.com/dreadnoughtleather/reel/DSQOS7NDhiX/) intended to emulate the dust and dirt of the rock face. Olive green thread represents the tenacious scrub and plant life that punctuates the cliffs. I chose to back this with a piece of red/brown Shinki shell cordovan, because why not.
The end result came out a bit "dirtier" than I was originally intending, but I think it meets the brief nonetheless. I certainly enjoyed putting it together. [If it speaks to you as well, it is available for purchase here ($300 + shipping).](https://dreadnoughtleather.com/products/red-rock-bifold)
