The truth of shoppers ((long))

The truth of all those who come into a Walmart, any Walmart, any store, any public place, anything that is not a residence…

Nobody has ever shopped before…

People come into Walmarts all the time. But no one seems to understand that what they want may not be there- the right size, the right brand, the current brand, the description, the right price.

And since Walmarts are treated often like glorified gas stations ((I’ve been to gas stations that are as big as a Walmart)), people think it’s their one-time stop.

But then they come back again. And again.

They go to a different Walmart. And then they compare “this Walmart is….” “Wow, they didn’t have this at….”

Yet, they make this frequent shopping thing a habit until it becomes routine…. Then it’s their normalized behavior. Yet … they still don’t understand how to shop.

Shopping is NOT buying the stuff. Then it’s called BUYING.

Shopping refers to shop- as in you are in an establishment comparing and deliberating over the wares and freight. Shopping actually takes a modicum of brain cells; though the gap is enough to distinguish shoppers from customers.

One can technically shop even if they don’t buy the thing they consider. That is an arguable shopping experience.

But no one knows how to. And what’s worse, learning for yourself the best way to shop is very hit-and-miss. For post-high school students, living on their own, this is the time to learn quickly on those things.

But… even full-blown adults, with families…. Can’t…. Shop….

So I have come to the awful conclusion based on those who come into Walmarts….

That it must be their first time; oh, not THIS Walmart, NOT in this state…. I mean, their first time shopping. Period.

It’s one of the few ways I can mentally conclude to; oh, I know there will be examples of exceptions… but 1. I don’t care; 2. They are exceptions.

Anywho, accept potato and don’t let your overlords make you submit too harshly
