What is coaching?

I've been talked to countless times, about all sorts of things, but I don't think I've been coached. Do they blatantly say that term? Do they take you to a back office? Do you sign a piece of paper? I did sign a paper once because I missed water under a cart, but that happens to every cashier once in a while and my CSM acted like it was nothing to worry about, not even a little bit.

Most everything I screw up is accidental and I always smooth it over, even customer complaints I don't get in trouble for.

I think I have the easiest job in the store, it's hard to fuck up, but if I did, I'd like to know.
