How early should I get to Audi to see the players arrive?

I’m hoping to get to Audi Field early for an upcoming Spirit game and try to see some of the players as they arrive at the stadium. I’ve seen people waiting near the player entrance before games and getting the chance to briefly say hello as the players walk in, but I’ve never done it myself and I’m not really sure what the timing is usually like.

For anyone who has done this before, roughly how early before the gates open would you recommend getting there? Do most of the players arrive around an hour before gates, or would I need to be there closer to two hours beforehand to have a good chance of seeing them?

I know the exact timing probably varies from game to game and from player to player, but even a general idea of when people usually start waiting would be really helpful. Thanks!
