Advice for pre-waterblock torture testing of a 4090
Hey there,
Bit of a weird question, but yeah post title.
Backstory: I blocked a 3080, it broke in only 4 months. No leaks, no corrosion, no temps above 60 degrees Celsius. I think I just lost the covid silicon lottery unfortunately. Completely no video, no signal from the card, not even seen by BIOS or OS.
I'm hoping to avoid that this time, by basically giving a minor torture test to the replacement, especially since said replacement is a 4090. So basically, I need ideas for how to push the card, not with the goal of breaking it, but with the goal of seeing if it will last before throwing the block on and thus voiding the warranty.
So far my buddies and I have the following on the docket:
* Furmark * Cyberpunk RT * Alan Wake 2 RT + Mesh shaders * Control RT
Any additional ideas we should take into account?
