New loop; Aquacomputer Quadro fans spiking to 100% every 30sec-1min even at idle

So I just finished my first custom loop. I'm running dual 360 rads with Corsair RS120 thicc boi PWM fans running through splitters from the Quadro. I also have two 140mm non-PWM fans controlled from the mobo.

I did have the temp sensor that came with the Quadro connected and sitting above the RAM and the rad fan spikes were correlated with spikes from that temp sensor. They would shoot to 100% for a few seconds and the case temp would go down and they would stop. Soon after the process would repeat. This was all happening despite having them set to reference the coolant temp in Aquasuite and NOT the case temp.

So I unplugged that case temp sensor to see if no longer seeing those temp spikes made the fans stop spiking. Unfortunately it did not. And these bastards are loud as hell at 2000rpm, so this is a pretty damn annoying problem.

Anyway, I'm now over my head as far as this issue goes. Is the mobo somehow running these things despite the fans all running through the Quadro and Aquasuite? Is my Quadro junk? Is something possibly fucky with my fan connectors/wiring?
