can i increase number of tabs visible / decrease size of tabs in tab bar?

just made the change to waterfox

i'm a freak who likes to have dozens of tabs open at once , but on my monitor after about 12 i start having to scroll between tabs, whereas on e.g. chrome the tabs will shrink until they just show the icon for the page, letting me fit like 40 in the tab bar

can i get the tabs to shrink more or am i just gonna have to learn to live with it?
