New features in our Brokerage Account: Instant trades, share-denominated orders, limit orders, and more securities

We’re excited to share new features in our **Brokerage Account**, expanding on the investing experience previously offered through the Stock Investing Account, including instant trades, recurring investments, and limit orders.

Here’s what’s new:

**1. Trade instantly**

You can now trade instantly in our Brokerage Account during market hours between 9:30am-4:00pm ET, giving you more confidence in the share price your trade will execute at.


**2. Share-denominated orders**

You now have the ability to buy and sell a specific number of shares at market price. This is especially useful for those of you who wish to trade in whole shares. If you’re looking to trade fractional shares, you can still buy and sell a specific dollar amount at market price.


**3. Limit orders**

We now support limit orders which give you more control over the price at which you buy or sell a security. You choose the price, and your order only executes if the security reaches that price.

For example, you can set a buy order to only execute if the price of a security drops to a level you're willing to purchase it at. Conversely, you can set a sell order to only execute if the price of a security you own raises to a level you're willing to sell it for.


**4. More securities**

8,000+ newly added stocks and ETFs are now available in the Wealthfront Brokerage Account. To get started, just tap "Browse investments" and search for any exchange-listed stock or ETF you'd like to invest in.
