Gift for future mother in law

Lets start by saying I lost my own mom 17 years ago when I was 18. It was a huge loss and it still hurts some days. I already know I’ll be shedding some tears during my wedding because of this.

While this is sad I’m even more happy about my future mother in law. She is one of the smartest and caring people I’ve ever met. Of course she has her flaws as everyone does but the accepted me from day 1 and made me feel welcomed and special.

My fiancé comes from a rather conservative family, upper middle class to upper class, calm people, well dressed. I grew up in a tiny village in a family of farmers, I’m tattooed, I’ve got bright red hair and I’m loud.

Nonetheless there was like an instant bond between her and I, she even bought me my wedding dress and she is gifting me several pieces of their family jewellery for the wedding (with huge emotional and financial value).

I’d like to give her something as well but I’m a bit lost right now. She isn’t one for pieces of knick knacks, so no little ceramic dishes or figurines.

My budget would be around 250 CHF (275 USD) for the gift.

Does anyone have a great idea what to get? She loves reading (I’m a bookseller, so we’re a match :D), enjoys her cups of coffee, likes a occasional drink like Apérol, really likes driving her car (which she wasn’t able to for several weeks now due to surgery), has a fancy for delicate jewellery,…
