Sharing some of our engagement & wedding photos! Plus a heartfelt thanks to all of you.

It's been a little over a month since we were married on October 4th and I thought I would share some of the wonderful memories with all of you. It was realllly hard to narrow it down, but here are a smattering of our beautiful [engagement photos](http://imgur.com/a/UsvlW#0) and [wedding photos](http://imgur.com/a/YaBbV#0)!

Some notes about the day:

* The engagement shoot took place in Ballard, a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes north of Downtown Seattle, where my husband and I live and spend the vast majority of our free time together. If you're ever in town, I strongly encourage you to check it out!

* The ceremony and reception were both held on a decommissioned ferry boat that is permanently moored on South Lake Union in Seattle. The views are breathtaking and overall it proved to be a great venue.

* The turnout was about 125 guests, as planned.

* Overall the planning & prep was about 50% DIY. I am not particularly crafty but I do have a graphic design degree and made some signage, did our invites myself, etc. I relied a lot on the talents and readiness to help of my amazing bridal party and mother for the rest.

* Our colors were raspberry and champagne!

* The weather couldn't have been more perfect for early October. Sunny and 70. As the ceremony came to a close, the moon rose as the sun set. It was really special.

If anyone has any questions for me, please shoot! I haven't participated a whole bunch here since subscribing midway through the planning process, but it's been so fun to read about all your incredible ideas, get inspired to dream up my own, and absorb the vital wisdom you had to offer. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, from grateful mostly-lurker. This sub is such a great resource for brides-to-be.
