Where do I even start with looking for a makeup artist?

I have no clue where to start when looking for a makeup artist. I don't know what to ask or what I should look out for. I have slightly olive skin and I don't want to look orange on my wedding day. Many postings on fb groups and online look very similar and so I don't know if there are red flags (or green flags!) I should be looking for.

Any advice would be appreciated!
