Is it really finally my time?

This morning in the midst of chaos I looked across the patio and saw the most extraordinary little guy I've seen in a long time, or at least I think it is. Please confirm for me that this is my first ever weevil sighting?! And if google is correct that it's an Asiatic oak weevil. I live in Southern Vermont! The last photo is a visitor who dropped in for a photo shoot while I was taking pictures of my weevil friend!
