Anyone used the rounded-edge uesaka plates from Athens 2004?

I may have an opportunity to pick some of these up, but I'm a bit skeptical of the design. The rounded shape seems like it would give less contact area with the ground, and the 10s seem worryingly thin. Anyone have an experience with these? Maybe if I get them I can start lifting like Rezazadeh!
