Found in a box of old kitchen stuff

One seems kinda flint-like with a wooden handle, for sharpening something maybe? The other is small, made of marble or porcelain (?), with a free-moving roller piece. My mom thinks it's for wetting stamps or fingers for clerical work. From sometime probably first half to mid-20th century.
