horror graphic novel that takes place on a boat, kind of like The Thing? mostly remember concept art

hello ! also sorry for formatting I'm on mobile.

I remember following the making of a graphic novel that took place on a fishing boat or research vessel. this was in my late high school years to early college so 2017 - late 2019 at the latest. I think they may have been indie published, and if I recall correctly, they did in fact manage to get physical copies out, so it wasn't a scam or anything.

the concept art included body horror to a degree and had a rather blue/green leaning color palette that contrasted the blood and guts. there were definitely fish involved, the fish got creepy as all hell. there was an older man character with white or grey hair also. this was NOT a junji ito thing. I loved gyo and that's why the project caught my eye.

I apparently accidentally unfollowed the project's Instagram (or they deleted ??) and I haven't been able to find this book for YEARS since. everything coming up when I search for it is either a novel or tbp of an alien comic with a similar theme ??
