An YA/teen horror(?) anthology that I read in the 90s. Remember only one story about snow and don’t know if it’s one author or several

A anthology but I only remember one story

I don’t know if the stories are from one author or different authors. I think the collection is aimed at young adults to teenagers. The one story I remember is the it starts to snow. It keeps snowing until the house are covered. The parents I believe try to get supplies at some point but never return. I just know they’re out of the picture. Then they dig tunnels around and dig one to a convenience store or supermarket and find a corpse. At the end they protagonist digs to the surface and sees fires or lights of other survivors on the surface. Think it was a book from the 90s but I am not positive.
