Razor advice

Hi all,

I was never able to shave using cartidge razors without getting a lot of irritation. I decided to give DE a try and bought a Qshave adjustable one. It held the blades croocked, and gave me a lot of cuts. I got sent a non adjustable Qshave crazor with a closed comb and that works way better. I shave once every 5 to 7 days so I won't get irritation any more.

Is there room for more improvement by buying a name brand razor instead instead if the aliexpress qshave one?

Sometimes the hairs will collect under the edge of the blade a bit and stick there. Could going to an open comb be more suitable for me since I am have a lot of hair to remove?
