Thanksgiving

So we have successfully made it through the Thanksgiving weekend. And now comes the next suckiest part (it’s all sucky, isn’t it? Every. fucking. thing. now).

Back to work and all of the pleasantries. “Did you have a nice Thanksgiving?” “ I hope everyone had a nice holiday” “Did you have to travel for the holiday?”

All the BS small talk at the beginning of meetings, etc. I know my part. Half of that BS will come out of MY mouth as I open our morning managers mtg. And I genuinely DO care about my employees and also do NOT give a shit at the same time.

This next month is going to be brutal. I don’t know how to navigate this shit without my husband. Fuck.
