Northern Rhone

I'll be staying in Lyon next month for a few days and wanted to head down to a few of the towns in the Northern Rhone. Any wineries or tasting rooms an especially good experience? I figure I will almost certainly take the train down to Hermitage and hit a few tasting rooms in town but other than that still figuring it out. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!
